Students can apply to graduate by following the directions (PDF document) provided by the registrar's office. Please contact them at [email protected] for questions regarding this process.
There are three graduation dates (fall, spring and summer) and one commencement ceremony (May). Students completing degree requirements in the fall participate in the following May commencement ceremony. Students completing degree requirements in the spring term participate in the May commencement ceremony following the end of that term.
Students completing degree requirements in the summer term participate in the May commencement ceremony of that same calendar year. Students on track to complete degree requirements in the fall semester of the following academic year may participate in the May commencement ceremony of that calendar year. To do so, contact Academic Affairs before March 1.
The undergraduate commencement ceremony is usually 2 to 2.5 hours long and the graduate ceremony is usually 1 to 1.5 hours long. (It is determined by the amount of graduate students in attendance.)
Handicapped seating is available. Contact Academic Affairs for additional information. For other accommodations, please reach out to academic affairs and they will assist as needed.
EMSA will be stationed outside the Henry J. Freede Wellness and Activity Center.
Parking areas are indicated on the campus map.
There will be photo opportunities after the ceremonies on campus.
Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the beginning of your ceremony.
Diplomas will be mailed to the address on the candidate's graduation application six to eight weeks after commencement. Diplomas will be held for students with who have a balance with the Student Accounts Office. Contact Angela Do, associate registrar, at 405-208-5352 for additional information.

It’s that time to place your regalia order for the Spring 2024 ceremony!
by Feb. 24 to place your order!
After the Feb. 3 deadline, the Campus Store can still take manual orders via phone 405-208-5112, email, or by walking in the store until Feb. 24. After the deadline, the Campus Store will also have stock on hand of all the regalia pieces for any last-minute needs. If you place your order and select store pickup, you do not have to pay until you pick up your regalia set.
